This 1920's Whiting & Davis silver mesh rhinestone studded gate top purse, beggars bag or accordion purse is in mint condition.

The outside of the purse is in perfect shiny condition, with no damage to the lid or the mesh, and no missing rhinestones; all are sparkling. The interior is also in excellent condition, with no rips, tears, stains or damage. Any dark spots on the mesh or lid are only reflections, and not any damage.  It is hallmarked with the Whiting & Davis tag, which can be seen in our fourth photo.

It opens and closes as it should, and is a gorgeous piece that would be great for those special occasions or night out on the town. This purse would make a wonderful wedding purse for the bride to be.

The piece measures approximately 7 inches in length, not including the chain. With chain it's an approximate 11 inches in total length. The gate opens to an approximate 4 1/2 inch diameter. It has a small pocket inside that holds the original glass double sided mirror. The mirror has some haze, but no cracks or chips; and comes in the original paper envelope.
